Today is the last day of school for the kids around here. It got me thinking and realizing that today marks 10 years ago that Kyle and I graduated high school. 10 years! A full decade!
There we are, next to each other, on the end. We had no clue that we would be married four years later.
High school graduation day was a very happy day for me. I was ready to be done with high school my junior year. I just was tired of being in class with people who didn't care to be there. I was so ready to move on to college.
I am grateful for the strong friendships I developed while in high school that continued into college and that I still have today. Of course I am most grateful that I met Kyle our freshman year. We had geometry and seminary together that year. We were lucky enough to have seminary together our first 3 years of high school. That is how we became such good friends.
Happy 10 years everyone!
Happy 10 years!! It's amazing how much things change in 10 years. And that 4 out of the 6 people in this picture are married to each other!
ReplyDeleteWell Laura, we are the odd ducks aren't we?
ReplyDeleteRenae, thanks for posting this. I can't believe it's been ten years. High school wasn't so bad, but I'm glad to now be there anymore. Thanks to all of you guys though for making everyone else bearable.
I have been out of the blogging world for a while and just saw this! Ditto to what everyone else said. I'm such a goober and was crying in this picture.
