Stuff...

So, as a result of our move... we no longer have the internet. Just so you know... if I get totally lackadaisical about posting, now you know why... or at least that is my excuse.

Kyle has started classes for Industrial Design and he loves them! That makes me happy. He's having so much fun, which is awesome. He's working really hard, so I'm hoping for the best. He really wants to do this, so as long as he's motivated he has the potential to get into the program. He applied in April and got in for the freshman courses, but now he has to apply again in August to get into the rest of the program. His course load this summer is pretty heavy. He's taking 4 classes... but only 6 credits. He is in class for 6 hours M-Th, and has homework assignments due each class period. He really wants to focus on his classes so he can pass the portfolio review in August, so he quit working, at least for the summer. So, now I am the only bread winner in the family. I'm only working 3/4 time, so... looks like I get to start job hunting for something full time. Hopefully something will come up... everything will work out...

I still just spend my time scrapbooking... I'm working on making a recipe box to put all of my recipes in, so it's more organized and easier to plan out dinner. I'm really super excited about it... now I just need to start it. :)

I ordered Stephanie Meyer's book The Host from walmart.com. It sounds like a weird book... but is the Twilight series and I love those, so I decided to give a try. I've heard it's good, so we'll see. I'm really excited for it to show up... hopefully in the next couple of days!

I went to the grocery store today and only spent $46! That's amazing! Most of the time I end up spending $80-$100. I'm really proud. Hopefully that will last us for a little while...

Yeah... that's life. Still nothing really that interesting to write about... If only I had the internet, maybe I'd be able to remember some good story or something and make this thing all whitty and funny.... instead it's boring. That's my life....... :)

  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the UPB as a whole doesn't miss me, but I'm okay with that. I was never very fond of the place. I hate job hunting and I am so sorry you have to do it. Seriously, job hunting and house hunting are the most painful things ever. And you guys don't need to stress...Kyle is so meticulous and focused that I'm sure he'll pass the second part entrance portion of his major!!! I miss you guys!
