Austin

We spent this past Saturday in Austin, learning about the history of Texas. We went to the State History Museum, (which was pretty impressive) and then walked down to the Capitol. It was face-melting hot that day (and everyday) so we quickly walked back to the museum to cool off. Unfortunately no photography was allowed in the museum, so we only have a couple pictures from outside.

After cooling off, we walked across the street to tour the University of Texas campus. Their football stadium is gi-normous! Seriously. I've included two pictures of it, but I don't know that you can really understand just how mammoth it is without actually seeing it.
