“Thank you for playing! I drive red car.”
This was Hailey’s cute response to spending most of our day with our friends Ryan and Rachel. Ryan graduated with Kyle from BYU this past April. We met up with them at IKEA for breakfast, and slowly made our way through the store.
Ryan and Rachel recently returned from an extended stay housesitting and petsitting in Europe. They are living with Rachel’s parents while Ryan looks for work.
After IKEA we went back to their home. Rachel’s parents have a small playroom with toys saved from Rachel’s childhood. Hailey was in heaven. She loved driving this little red car and going shopping for groceries. Kyle and I loved it, because Hailey was occupied and happy while we were able to visit with friends without trying to entertain her at the same time.
Win-win!
We ended the day with a late lunch/early dinner at Chick-fil-A, which we love way too much. (Thanks Peppers for introducing us to it back in Round Rock, TX!)
