My Favorite Blog

I don't ever have much time to spend playing on the internet... which is partly why I haven't posted in a long time (I also don't have anything exciting to write about). In what little time I've had while at work I discovered a blog that has become my new best friend. I haven't had much time to look it over, but this blog is awesome for anyone aspiring to learn Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. I feel like a have a pretty good handle on Photoshop, but I've learned some cool things. I'm just starting to play with Illustrator... that program is amazing. I'm so excited to learn Illustrator, I really want to learn to stretch my creativity and create some cool things with that program. For now I will look in awe and someday I'll learn. Anyway... it's called Verele's blog. She has put up some pretty cool tutorials. I'm in love and I wanted to share it.

Pretty cool huh? I've been wanting to know how to give a photo a "vintage" look... now I have a few ideas of how to do it. If I were to do it again I think I would tone down the sepia a little bit and try to make the blues and greens stand out more. I still like the way it turned out, I just need to tinker with it a bit more.
