We celebrated Hailey's birthday Sunday evening with family and friends. Here is a sampling of the goings on at the party.

My lovely decorations. Thank you Holly and Laura for all of your help cutting out my circles!

I love this cupcake stand. It cost me $3.50.

The same pictures I posted in my previous post. I printed them at Costco and put them under the glass on our table. Turned out cute!

Hailey's birthday outfit. I have to give a ton of credit to Kyle in his help in my crafting this outfit. Holy smokes, it wouldn't have happened without him. He is awesome and took me down to the Industrial Design shop at BYU and laser cut the fabric for me (letters are not so easy to cut out by hand, especially when it's fabric), and finished the tutu after my fruitless hours of sewing.  Kyle is amazing, and the outfit is amazing.

Also, thank you Laura for taking pictures while I video taped! You are awesome. :)

This illustrates what a mess she made. Check out the undersides of her arms.

I added this one to show off her teeth. Look close, they're there!

This is just super cute. One of Hailey's newest "tricks" is to play peek-a-boo. She covers her eyes (or the sides of her face) and quickly brings her hands away. I think it's funny.

Lastly, here are two extremely long videos of Hailey opening her presents and eating her cake. The first one (opening presents) is almost 8 minutes and the second (eating her cupcake) is 4.5 minutes.

  1. Hailey is the cutest one-year-old! We're so glad that she is Eva's friend! PS- your decorations are amazing!

  2. I can't believe she is already one! She is so cute. And, I looooved her birthday outfit!

  3. Renae, this looks awesome! Sorry I couldn't be there, it looks like it was a blast.

  4. Sorry, I'm not going to comment on the cuteness of your kid as is customary on these sorts of posts. I'm just impressed at how nice all your graphics always are. That banner and the cupcake decorations are so nicely done! =)
